Only in dreams, quite literally

Today was the first day of shooting for Only in Dreams, and to put it very simply, everything that could go wrong did. My actress didn't show up, and we lost an hour of time waiting for her. There was a camera problem, and the first three hours of our shoot was a waste. Not to mention the damn thing is falling apart. My cell phone is permanently broken now. We ran out of film and weren't sure what was gotten and what wasn't.. it's just been a mess. But you can't freak out on days like this; time is too important to waste it like that. When the actress didn't show up Kat took her place. When the camera broke we came home and took out a video one, finishing the dream stuff on that. Tonight was the most difficult part of the shoot because Wes is shooting his final in the same apartment, half the time in the same room. Both of us ended up staging lights at the same time while trying to make sure everything was set.

As for only in dreams? Today has been a nightmare. Nobody said that the world was without them. The hard days only allow us to appreciate the easier ones much more.
