The Keys Project

Alright well its time to do a quick review of things lately. Shortly after the whole sickness problem was resolved, Randi made a guest appearence out here for a week. Things went well, and we had a lot of fun. I also shot my first film, Maggie's Garden. Lately, I've also gotten myself into a bit of a project that after telling people has received quite a bit of skepticism. I'm doing this massive undertaking of learning several languages. Now, this isn't all at once, mind you. I'll be studying one at a time. I already began on Sunday with Japanese. The catch is, I have to spend at least an hour a day studying. How friggin insane is that? Yea I know. I believe I can do it though, and I know I have the discipline to see it through. In June, ask me how I'm doing, because around then I should be finished with Japanese. After that, I will move on to Italian, German, Russian, French, and I'll wrap with a review on Spanish (as you know I've already taken that for 9000 years). It has come to my attention that languages are the keys to the world. If that's the case, then I'm going to attempt to get as many keys as I can. Joining me (at a much slower pace) is my brother, and big Jared. Wish us luck ;) hahaha

The final comments on Maggie's Garden? It went well. It started raining shortly after we finished shooting Dave's piece.

Spring, and all the fun crap that comes with it

If you lived in Chicago, then today you were probably as happy as I was. We had a brief indian summer, with the weather peaking at 65 degrees! It was awesome, I spent as much time as I could walking around outside today. I also did the location scouting for "Maggie's Garden", which we'll be shooting in a couple weeks. When I came home tonight all we did was clean clean clean. Randi is gonna be coming in 7 days now, and to be honest our apartment was a damn shit hole (anyone who has been here lately can definitely confirm that). But it's all better! That mess on the stove? Gone. The pube grass growing our bathroom? Gone. Jared? Gone. Kevin will be coming back tomorrow from the dance competition that the show he was in got into. It's also the same show that I did fight choreography for! I'm wicked excited to hear how it went. Oh man it felt soo good to have that weather today, I really needed that taste of summer. I think when winter comes here no matter how hard I try I always forget how different shit is in the summer. Anyways, time to get to sleep and be up for class in the morning.

Halcyon on and on

That's the name of a great song, if you haven't heard it yet you should download it. So here's the update on things. I'm officially almost better... I don't really have a sore throat anymore, but I'm still feeling wicked fucked. Hopefully I'll be better by the weekend though. I skipped a few classes and slept, I guess it paid off. I turned in the production packet for my first film in Production I. The movie is going to be called "Maggie's Garden". In other news, there's 10 days left until Randi comes. I'm really excited, it makes me soo happy to see her again :o). She'll be spending the week here for her spring break, and as you can imagine I'll be posting pictures of all the fun crap we do haha. Finally, plans are starting to form at the end of the month, where I'll be heading home myself for spring break. So keep checking back! Hopefully now that I'm getting better, we can have some friggin action around here!
